About the author

The Twelve was co-directed by Sophie Monpeyssen, Olivier Girard, and Lucy Martens, key figures at Le Ciel Foundation who launched the documentary as part of their vision for conscious storytelling and global harmony  .

Together, they crafted the film to amplify ancestral wisdom traditions and inspire collective action toward a more sustainable, compassionate future—a mission that lives on through their holistic platform and ongoing initiatives.

Milena Warns produced the series, bringing a unique background in non‑profit fundraising and operations to power both the film’s creation and its global impact campaign ().

About the Director

Majid Farzolahi is an Iranian filmmaker whose work explores existential and social themes through visual minimalism. His short films, including The Morgue, The Girl and the Street, and Ecstasy, have screened at numerous international festivals and received multiple awards.

Entrophy

When a physics professor attempts to teach entropy, his lecture hall turns uncanny as reality bends in unexpected ways.

Entropy is a 14‑minute Persian-language short comedy that transforms familiar classroom routines into surreal disturbances, reflecting on human adaptability in the face of entropy’s inevitability. Co-directed by Bamdad Aghajani and Arian Navabi, the film blends science with absurdist humor to explore how we confront cosmic chaos in everyday life.

Winner of the “Best Comedy (Short)” award at LA Festival of Cinema and honored across student film circuits—such as VGIK and Nahal—it’s a playful yet profound invitation to re-examine the laws that govern us  .

About the Directors

Bamdad Aghajani, born in Tehran and the son of poets, studied directing at Tehran University of Art. His sophomore short (Entropy 2022) garnered multiple student awards and funding for his next project ().

Arian Navabi, born in 2001, brings a background in mathematical physics and computer engineering. He co-directed and edited Entropy, which won “Best Short Film” at VGIK’s student festival in Moscow ().
